After Breakfast Proceed to Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass (The Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft). Arrive at Diskit by afternoon. The rest of the day one is free to explore Diskit, Hunder Villages, and camel Safari in Sand Dunes between Diskit and Hunder Village. Overnight Nubra Valley.

After breakfast, visit Deskit, the main village in the Nubra Valley. There's a small market and a gompa dating back to 1420 on the hilltop, from which there are spectacular views of the valley. About 100 monks live here. Then, continue to Hundar village, where you'll also see Samstanling Monastery and a ruined fort on a hill above it. Then, return from Hundar to Deskit on a Bactrian camel safari (or on foot if you prefer). The trek through the sand dunes takes about two hours. After breakfast, Proceed to Pangong Lake via Shyok Route. Pangong Lake is a salt water body of 120 km in length and 6 – 7 Km broad at the longest point. It is bisected by the international border between India & China (2/3 of the lake is in China’s possession). Visit the exact location of the famous movie “Three idiots” & enjoy outing along the banks of the lake. One really feels very close to nature at Pangong Lake with its scenic surroundings.
