Upon arrival at “Jammu” discovered by Raja Jambu Lochan – the Island of the “Fearless” and the Island of “Gods & Goddesses” – popularly known as the “City Of Temples”.On the way visit Nau Devi Temple (A highly reputed temple situated 9 kms away from Katra town). Later check-in to the hotel and overnight stay.

After an early breakfast in the morning, we proceed further to visit the Holy temple of Vaishnodevi (Total 13 kms walk to the temple that takes about 4-5 hours). Enroute stops at Adhkwari Temple and darshan at Baba Bhaironath Temple is recommended). During summer and peak travel season it may be advisable to start the climb previous evening. Once queue tickets are purchased the waiting period could be half an hour to 3 hours depending on the rush. During season Yatra Parchi (entry tickets required to begin the uphill walk), it is recommended to purchase in advance to avoid delays. For guests looking for Helidarshan (Helicopter ride, darshan, and back), morning flights are recommended for best weather and least uncertainty. Return by late evening for dinner & overnight stay at Hotel.

After breakfast check-out from Katra and drive to Pahalgam Situated at the confluence of the streams flowing from Sheshnag Lake and the Lidder River, Pahalgam (2,130 m) was once a humble shepherd’s village with breathtaking views. En route visiting Saffron fields, Awantipur ruins (1100 yrs old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiverma), see the beautiful countryside on the way and lot of rice fields. Drive through pine forests. Now it is Kashmir’s premier resort, cool even during the height of summer when the maximum temperature does not exceed 25°C. After lunch has bridle walks and feeds your cameras with the picture of magnificent view of mountains.Dinner and Overnight stay at Pahalgam.

After breakfast full day in Pahalgam to explore the natural surroundings. One can hire a Pony / Horse* to visit Baisaran Valley, Kashmir Valley,Old Shikargah, Denow Valley, and Daban. After breakfast check out & proceed to Srinagar &local sightseeing. Visit Cheshma Shahi (Mughal gardens built in 1632 AD ) Pari Mahal (Built by Mughal Prince Dara Shikoh in the mid-1600s, Friday holiday) Nishat Bagh Garden, Shalimar MughalGarden, Botanical Garden, Tulip Garden(March 20 th till April 30 th Only), Shankaracharya Temple (243 Steps By walk Timings, 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM) and Shikhara ride in Dal Lake ( Optional,01hr Rs. 1000/- Per Shikara Upto 4 Pax ). Later visit Affarwat and Khilanmarg glaciers by Gondola cable car ride ( Phase 1) and Optional Activities of Snow Bike ( Rs.1000/- Per person), sledding, etc. Later visit Phase 2 by cable ride (Optional). Back to basement &Optional ATV rider/pony horse /walk, around Gulmarg (In this ride you will cover various places around Gulmarg like Strawberry Valley, children’s park, golf course, etc. This ride will take approx 1 hour to complete and will cost RS 2000/-approx per person. You will be accompanied by an ATV operator at all times, you can also self-drive but under the supervision of an operator). Enjoy horse riding up to Thajiwas Glacier and sledge riding, visit Zero Point, Tiger Hill Kargil war memorial in Zojila pass (at own cost – only cars operated by locals are allowed). In the evening return back to Srinagar. Overnight stay in a Hotel in Srinagar. Note: The vehicle will drop and pick you up at the Sonamarg car stand. To reach the glaciers, you can hire ponies on your own payment basis.
